Maternity Tour

For expectant parents who are interested in learning about hospital procedures and options for giving birth in the Labor & Delivery Unit or our Birth Center. Access to a labor room will depend on availability. Watch these videos of the birthing facilities at UC San Diego Health. Please note that if UC San Diego Health moves into yellow tier due to the rising number of respiratory illnesses in the community during cold and flu season, a number of policies change in the interest of patient protection. In-person maternity tours will be postponed when the medical centers are in yellow tier. If tours are postponed, we recommend checking this website periodically to see when registration re-opens.
