About this event
This physical theatre workshop explores how to turn a mask into a dynamic performance tool, using movement, physicality, and play to bring the mask to life. Participants will experiment with ways to communicate, create character, and express through the body while discovering the possibilities of mask performance. This project is supported in part by an Elevate Grant from Austin Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment, and by a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts. The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Reasonable modifications and equal access to communications will be provided upon request. For assistance, please contact 512-974-3917 or Relay Texas 7-1-1. For more information or to request a language interpreter, please call Austin 3-1-1 or 512-974-2000.
