Master the Comma Stroke with Pat Smelkoff

About this event

Discover the beauty of movement and rhythm in this engaging Comma workshop. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to use the expressive “comma” brushstroke to build texture, depth, and flow within your artwork. This versatile technique allows you to create everything from soft florals to dynamic landscapes using simple, repeated strokes. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll explore brush control, layering, and composition while developing a style that feels both intuitive and meditative. Perfect for all skill levels, this class offers a relaxing, process-driven approach to painting, and a fresh technique you can carry into all your future work. All supplies provided. This is a process driven workshop; you’ll leave with knowledge about the process, not a completed painting.
