Leesburg Public Library - Meeting Room B. The Florida Master Gardener Program is an outreach program composed of UF/IFAS Extension certified volunteers who are trained to provide research-based horticultural education to Florida residents. Learn from their expertise on gardening, landscaping, and environmental stewardship. Each session highlights practical tips and research-based information designed to help our community enjoy and care for Florida’s unique natural environment. Topic: Citrus Citrus in the home landscape is possible now that the University of Florida has found resistant varieties of citrus that the homeowner can grow. You will be introduced to a orange tree variety that can tolerate citrus greening along with grapefruit, lemon, and lime varieties that are also tolerant of citrus greening disease.
