Born John Martin in Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1958, he was nicknamed Marty after Marty Robbins. Stuart started his career as a bluegrass prodigy, touring with Lester Flatt and then in Johnny Cash’s band. Five-time GRAMMY award winner, Country Music Hall of Fame and AMA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. He is joined by his long-time band The Fabulous Superlatives.
