Master saxophonist / flutist / composer Mark Lewis has earned a long list of impressive reviews including “Northwest Treasure” (Jim Wilke, KNKX DJ) and “distinctive original” (Paul deBarros, Seattle Times music writer). He’s written more than 1,800 songs inspired by people, places and experiences along his path, and features some of his original pieces each time he performs. Pianist Bill Anschell was born and raised in Seattle and he too left the area for 25 years to experience the larger world of jazz. The two each eventually found their way back to the Northwest and when they take the stage together they bring a world of experience, interaction and spontaneity to every performance.
