About this event
Let’s Make+Take!—Woodcut is considered to be one of the earliest of all printmaking methods. Learn about the process from wood considerations to carving, and how to pull a print. Each participant will get a chance to try woodcut for themselves as they carve a simple design into their own mini wood block. At the end of the class, participants will collectively print their blocks and walk away with a few proof prints. Level: Beginner – Previous experience with relief printmaking (linoleum, wood) is welcome, but not required. Registration closes November 12, 2026 and all materials are provided.
