Computer Lab. Calling all young makers! Learn the basics of 3D design using Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly design program, and discover how digital ideas become real objects. Participants will learn the fundamentals of computer-aided design (CAD) and create a project to be printed on the library's 3D printer. From custom creations to fun keepsakes, come discover the basics of digital design while building confidence with new technology. This introductory program is best for first-time designers, ages 9-12. Space is limited - registration required. Before attending the workshop, please make sure to create a free personal-use account with our software program, Tinkercad. Sign up for an account at https://www.tinkercad.com/ Projects will be printed at a later time and participants will be contacted when they are ready to pick up. This program is presented by library staff.
