In this class, you will be introduced to the Bridgeport Manual Mill, learning the basic machine operation and how to use common tools such as mills, drills, and locating devices. The Bridgeport Manual Mill is widely used for precision machining tasks, offering versatility in shaping, drilling, and milling metal parts. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool. Topics Covered Machine setup and safety protocols Use of cutters Basic techniques Proper tool handling and maintenance How to execute basic mill tasks Additional Information* Attendees must be at least 16 years and up. After the successful completion of this class attendees will be given a certificate allowing them access to the Machine Shop and use of the Mills with a paid Make Salt Lake membership.
