Lung cancer can affect people who have never smoked, and this is an important health concern for many Asian women. Join us for an informative community conversation exploring the experiences of people affected by lung cancer and the latest perspectives from the medical and research communities. Dr. Velotta, a thoracic surgeon at Kaiser Permanente, will share clinical insights and bring patients to discuss their experiences with lung cancer. Dr. Lin, a clinical researcher and lung cancer patient at Stanford University, will share perspectives from both her research and personal experience. Together, our speakers will discuss lung cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research, and lived experiences, with a focus on raising awareness and encouraging open conversations about lung cancer in the Asian community.
