About this event
Samara Joy DURATION: Approximately 120 minutes, including intermission. Buy Tickets The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes Samara Joy to the stage for an evening where two distinct musical forces meet to create something truly extraordinary. Samara Joy brings a depth and warmth to every performance that is singular in jazz today. Multiple Grammy Awards have followed naturally, and with them a reputation as one of the most important vocal artists of her generation. Paired with the LPO, her artistry finds new dimension and new possibility. Rooted in tradition yet entirely alive in the moment, the conversation between her voice and a full orchestra is something rare. Beautiful, unexpected, and not to be missed.
