Loteria! Draw Your Story

Community Room. Discover the colorful world of Loteria, a beloved Mexican card game with roots stretching back centuries! We'll explore its cultural history, play a round, and then get creative - design your own Loteria card inspired by your identity, culture, or things you love the most. No artistic experience needed, just your story. This program is presented with deep respect for Mexican cultural heritage. DML acknowledges it is sharing a tradition from outside our staff's own cultural background. We have made every effort to present Loteria's history and significance accurately and respectfully, and we warmly welcome community to members to share their own connections, stories, and knowledge throughout the program. Please contact us if accommondations are needed.
