Death at Greenway is a historical mystery set during World War II at Agatha Christie's holiday estate, Greenway House, which was also used as a home for children evacuated from London during the blitz. The New York Times called the novel "irresistible... a Golden Age homage and an elegantly constructed mystery that on every page reinforces the message that everyone counts.” The author will share stories and unexpected joys from her research for the novel, show photos of Greenway, and take questions from the audience about the book or its historical background.Immediately following Lori's talk, stick around for a librarian-led book discussion of Death at Greenway. It's your chance to voice your thoughts about the novel and hear from others in the community who read the book along with you.Starting on October 1st, stop by the second-floor desk to pick up a free copy of Death at Greenway while supplies last! Giveaway copies brought to you by the River Forest Public Library Foundation.
