Long Island Graveyards and Cemeteries 250th Anniversary Edition

Long Island cemetery historian Robert von Bernewitz will introduce the various historic cemeteries on Long Island. You will learn about symbolism on grave markers. In light of America's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, there will be a special feature on George Washington’s local spies and where they are buried. You will also learn about local patriots that helped during the Revolutionary war to gain our independence.
