About this event

Join me at 5:30pm on a 6 "ish" mile workout hike. The route is approximate and not exact. That is where the "ish" comes in there are a lot of trails intersecting in this area, the group should stay together and make a loop of it. Only attend if you are up for a workout as we do not stop much for breaks, unless it is to regroup or to note a turn and okay with the "ish" or possible exploration. Distance: 6 ish miles Elevation gain: 1000+ ft Difficulty: Intermediate due to distance, pace and exploratory nature Dogs: No Restrooms: No Water Fountain: No Parking: Free in the lot, which is dark on the return Trail: Loop, or lollypop Sunset: 6:14 pm (bring a light due to the nature of this hike) Weather: Extreme wind, rain, heat may cancel the hike (there is a chance of rain on 10/21) Known Dangers: Rattlesnakes, poison oak, bikers, taking wrong turns Bring: water (2-3 L), headlamp, light snack if you need it, an extra layer if you get cold, wear shoes with good traction for hiking, hiking poles if you use them.
