About the Author The author resided in Arlington, Virginia with her family before recently moving to Fredericksburg in retirement. She has been an avid volunteer in humanitarian work, and was named an honorary member of the Museum of the American Indian as a teenager. As a member of the Muhammad Ali Center, she has supported the center and their international humanitarian awards events.
