SEPTEMBER LIVE MUSIC FRIDAYS Summer may be winding down, but Friday nights at Martini Room are just getting into their groove. Think dim lights, cold martinis, live music, and that first hint of fall in the air. From smooth jazz and soulful sounds to gritty blues and a full night of Fringe Fest performances, September has a little something for every mood. 9/4 • 7PM — Mark Bettcher & Friends Smooth jazz and timeless favorites to ease into the weekend. 9/11 • 7PM — Kraig McCreary Jazz, soul & funk with plenty of groove. 9/18 • 8PM — Jack Whittle Trio Gritty blues, soulful roots & rock ’n’ roll. 9/25 — Elgin Fringe Festival An entire evening of Fringe Fest performances, creativity, cocktails & unexpected fun.
