Carolyn Law, certified personal property appraiser, will introduce attendees to some basic principles and techniques of material culture research in the context of family heirlooms. Among the topics to be discussed are strategies for investigating, preserving, and communicating the meaning of your treasured items using 21st century resources. Attendees are welcome to bring items of their own for discussion, but it’s not required. This program will not be recorded.
