Lissa Scheckenburger Trio

Like most of us, Vermont-based fiddler, singer, and composer Lissa Schneckenburger hunkered down during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike most of us, she came out of it having created a major outpouring of new music, including her new Falling Forward album. Its collection features Lissa’s original fiddle tunes alongside two traditional New England songs. She is taking the music on the road to live music venues in the Northeast with a powerhouse trio including pianist Rachel Aucoin and accordionist Samuel Foucher, and is now making a rare week-long visit to California! Ranging from exuberant, dance-driven energy to reflective and introspective moments, the trio offers music for both celebration and contemplation and presents selections from Falling Forward alongside audience favorites from Schneckenburger’s decades-long career.
