Lille Fredag x SACC: An Evening of Kubb

About this event

Join the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce (SACC) and Lille Fredag, a monthly mixer bringing together young adults with Nordic heritage, for an evening of Kubb in the American Swedish Institute courtyard. Eric Anderson and his team from the U.S. National Kubb Championship will kick off the evening with a brief introduction to the history of Kubb and a demonstration of how to play, with lessons and open play continuing throughout the evening. Then it’s your turn—grab a set, gather a team and play throughout the rest of the evening. The event is a chance for a new generation of the Nordic and broader community to discover Kubb, while welcoming players of all ages and bringing everyone together. Throughout the evening, SACC and other Minnesota-based Nordic organizations will also have tables set up around the courtyard. Stop by to learn more about their work, meet the people behind them and discover ways to get involved with the Nordic community here in Minnesota. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from FIKA Café at happy hour prices throughout the evening.
