Letterpress Holiday Cards

About this event

Saturday, December 5, 2026 | 10A - 1P | One-day Workshop | $175 Nothing says “happy holidays” like a handmade card, and nothing says handmade better than letterpress! Using antique wood and metal type, ornaments, and illustrations, you’ll design a single-color card and print it on a printing press that started its working life in 1892. At the end of the day, you’ll take home 20 handmade cards (plus envelopes) to send to all of your family and friends. Class takers should come with an idea of a short phrase (no more than 10 words) that they’d like to use in their card design, and wear clothes that they don’t mind getting a little inky. Supplies: All materials are included with registration. Guest Artist: Sarah Clark of Scale House Print Shop Register
