Let's Ride to Confluence Park @ 9:00 AM!!!

Last week you asked me to check into RIDING TO CONFLUENCE PARK. From the Denver trails website, it appears that the trail is open and we can head DOWNTOWN!!! Yep, dress up in your best biking kit and bring along your special (or ordinary) friend for a morning out on the town!!! No friends, no problem, we can provide you with a dozen or so. We will leave the Trek Store Broomfield at 9:00 AM. -COME PREPARED, CUZ WE MAY NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE SHOP BEFORE THE RIDE. -EXPECT SOME KIND OF DETOUR NEAR THE COLISEUM. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/52425585 44 Miles and 1570 Feet Climbing If you are not familiar with the route, you might want to upload it to your device. It may not be perfect, but it's close. The route is a fun 44 miles with just a few hills. Plan on stopping on the deck at REI for a little break. This route is a combination of paved trails and roads, check out the link to see a map and elevation profile. We welcome new riders to our group. So, if you are new to the area or are just looking for a friendly bunch of riders...THROW CAUTION TO THE WIND and come ride this Saturday. Just show up a few minutes early and the staff will help you get lined out Things to bring: your bike, helmet, full water bottle, spare tube and a friendly attitude. Front and rear lights add to our safety. I'll have mine! LET'S LEAVE THE EAR PHONES AND SPEAKERS HOME. We will be riding in a group and need all of our senses!!
