Let's Connect – AAC & Digital Learning Together

Conference Room. Join us Saturday, October 17th from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Conference Room at Mountain Home Public Library for Let’s Connect! This social group is designed for children ages 3–6 years old who use AAC, along with their parent or adult companion. Come meet other families, practice communication, explore AAC together, and enjoy fun digital learning activities. Class Breakdown: Welcome & Hello Meet the group, say hello, and get comfortable. AAC Warm-Up Practice simple words such as hello, name, friend, like, more, and all done. Digital Play Together Explore a fun, age-appropriate digital activity and practice making choices. Communication & Turn-Taking Practice my turn, your turn, help, go, stop, and other social communication skills. Create Together Work together on a simple digital creation and let each child contribute. Goodbye & Social Time Wrap up, practice our goodbye routine, and have a little time to connect with other families or Digital Navigator. Please sign up in advance to reserve your spot. This program is limited to 30 participants. An adult companion is required to stay with their child during the program.
