About this event
Unlike most meteor showers formed by comets, the Geminids are created by the asteroid 3200 Phaethon. In this build scenario, a piece of this "rock comet" has broken off and is on a collision course with Earth. Build a LEGO spacecraft to intercept the asteroid 3200 Phaethon before its debris hits Earth, emphasizing structural engineering and sci-fi storytelling.
