Leavitt Meadows Waterfalls Tour

About this event

Hike in the High Sierra near Sonora Pass, to Sardine Falls and Leavitt Falls. We will be hiking 4 miles on trails with some cross-country between elevations of 8500 to 9000 feet. Come prepared for chilly temperatures (40's) Bring a lunch, plenty of water and wear sturdy hiking boots. This hike is not particularly steep, but it is rated as Moderate difficulty due to the altitude. ND (No Dogs). **Waiver & Medical Form** Since this is a Sierra Club hike, we ask you to sign our liability waiver at the trailhead and donate $1 to help cover First Aid Training for all our leaders. If you are able to fill out, print, and bring this form with you to the hike, that will save time. The form will be returned to you after the hike. If you share a ride, be sure to help the driver out with gas money. For those of you who are interested, we will probably stop for dinner on the way back at one of the restaurants in Walker.
