About this event
Collaborative Room. Welcome to Learning Circles, a collaboration between the library’s diverse collection of educational resources and a community that’s ready to learn! Each session focuses on a unique topic, and features resources from online platforms such as Udemy, Kanopy and more. Library staff will present the featured resources, facilitate discussions, and suggest additional resources for further learning. The topic for this Learning Circle is Public Speaking, and this program features the following video resource: ‘Speak Like a Pro: Public Speaking for Professionals’ with Jennifer Hennings. From the official video description: “If you get nervous about giving presentations or leading meetings at work, this course will help you speak up powerfully when it matters most. And if your public speaking skills are holding you back in your career, this course will give you the tools you need to speak like a leader.” This program is presented by library staff.
