Create a podcast at the NB Downtown Library! This is a FREE creator lab run by the team at New Bedford Cable Network’s Public Access Channel. After the class, your 30 minute podcast will be on air on New Bedford Public Access Channel 95 as well as the channel live stream. You will also have a copy for your own use. Does this sound like the exact thing you’ve been looking for? If so, during this Zoom session you will learn: Brief Intro of New Bedford Public Access Brief review of Rules and Regs Pre-production planning Different podcast formats – solo host, co-host, interview style-panel discussion, etc. After this preparatory class, you will be ready for the in person session next week where you will learn: How to use the equipment Editing Including photos and videos to your podcast Sharing with the WORLD! This program is only available to New Bedford residents, non-profit organizations, and businesses*. Proof of residency is required for this program (please see our list of residency documents) Review Rules, Regulations and Operating Procedures Attend Zoom Write your podcast and create 30(ish) minutes of talking points Attend the in person class to publish your work Adult 18+ HOT TIP!!
