About this event
This event is intended for high school aged youth. Registration is requested to ensure materials are available. What is a granny square? A granny square is a piece of square fabric produced in crochet by working in rounds from the center outward. Granny squares are traditionally handmade as crochet and cannot be manufactured by machine (Wikipedia.) Granny squares are an easy, beginner-friendly crochet project that can be turned into a variety of different things: bags, pouches, sweaters, etc. Whether you're a crochet maven or a total newbie, you're welcome to join us!
