About this event
Reading Room. The League of Women Voters of Geneva is sponsoring a public forum with Ontario County Board of Elections Commissioners A.J. Magnan and Adeline Rudolph. It will be held on October 13, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Geneva Public Library Reading Room. At the forum, both Commissioners will discuss the voting methods, proper ballot marking, and the measures the board of election takes to prepare, test, tabulate, and report election results. The Commissioners will also discuss the importance of making a plan to vote, being an informed voter and understanding your rights as a citizen in the polling place. A well-informed public that understands the electoral process is a goal shared by both the League and the Board of Elections. At the event, both Commissioners will be happy to answer questions related to voting and steps to ensure accuracy in the voting process. If anyone has questions prior to the forum people may contact the League by email at LWVGeneva.ny@gmail.com
