In partnership with the Law Library of Louisiana, the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) is hosting its 12th annual Lawyers in Libraries events. Lawyers in the Library (Ask-a-Lawyer) sessions are events where patrons meet one-on-one with an attorney for 15-20 minutes each to ask questions about their individual legal issues. With the help of Louisiana’s librarians and the LSBA's Access to Justice staff, volunteer attorneys will provide library patrons with brief, limited legal services and resources at no charge. Please note: This event does NOT handle criminal matters. Registration is required. Call 985-626-9779 x 1 or email causeway@stpl.us to register for a time slot.
