The film is full of past and future stars from the era with Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, Judith Anderson, and a young Vincent Price, but its most important legacy may reside in its heavy influence on David Lynch’s TV series *Twin Peaks* where multiple plot elements are borrowed from Preminger’s noir classic. With the ghost of Laura looking over the film in a Gothic portrait and a beautiful and memorable classic theme in the score, prepare to be haunted by *Laura*. *— Warner West, Hard Light Cinema*
