About this event
José Luis Gómez welcomes Jorge Glem (the Venezuelan ukulele-like cuatro venezolano) and Elvis Martínez (the Mexican guitar-like bajo) for the third installment of ¡Fiesta Latina! celebrating the music of Venezuela. Each soloist is a powerful artist in their own right, with a distinctive mission to share the folk traditions of their homeland with the world. Together, they bring a fiery blend of technical mastery and classical elements to the folk music of their native Venezuela. This concert is sponsored by ¡Celebración latina! is generously underwritten by the I. Michael and Beth Kasser Family Foundation.
