About this event
Mezzanine Conference Room 2. We are a Boston Public Library book group for adults that reads a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction. We meet on the 1st Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm at the Central Library in Copley Square. Our October theme is "Multiple POVs" and we will be reading The City We Became by N.K. Jemisin. Fantasy. Every city has a soul. New York City? She's got five. Evil stirs beneath the earth, threatening to destroy the city and her five protectors unless they can come together to stop it once and for all. AVAILABILITY: Copies will be available for pick up at the Central Library Borrower Services desk after the previous month's discussion, until they are gone, or you may place holds on other copies or formats via the library catalog. We will also be attending N.K. Jemisin's author talk here at the BPL as a group! Please register for the author talk separately.
