Land Trust Days 2026 Kickoff

**Registration is required. Please register on Meetup.** Join us for a guided hike at Spruce Acres followed by s'mores around the fire pit to kick off Land Trust Days and your weekend early! Aquidneck Island Land Trust staff will lead a guided 1-mile hike around the property and share tips on what you can do on your own property to help out native wildlife and improve water quality. We will point out native plants, invasive species, and highlight the gardens on site. At the end of the hike we will gather around a fire pit for s'mores! We will also have art supplies on hand at the pavilion to sketch your favorite nature scene and a nature scavenger hunt for our youngest attendees. Land Trust Days is a statewide, 2 month celebration of the many special places protected by land trusts. Land trusts across the state host activities to share the special places they are protecting for everyone, young and old to enjoy.
