Join us for an evening of art and chess inspired by our exhibition, Tavares Strachan: The Day Tomorrow Began, and presented in partnership with The Royal Oak Initiative. Challenge your friends or make new ones—all ages and experience levels are welcome! Registration is free for members and $10 for nonmembers. Registration is optional but encouraged and includes access to the exhibition. Register The Royal Oak Initiative (ROI) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt social change and mentoring organization that uses the wisdom of chess to protect, heal, and build community by cultivating collective wellness, mindfulness, and critical thinking. We pride ourselves on providing a unique "flavor" of culturally-magnetic chess programming centering new and non-traditional chess explorers of all ages. Let's make moves!
