October 30 to November 8, Austin hosts an Urban Kiz and Kizomba exchange built for dancers serious about the craft. A nine-night intensive plus a run of weekend socials, opening on Halloween night. Roughly 25 dancers travel in from Paris. The rest of the room comes from across North America. All levels. There's no gate on this one, only the work. This isn't another weekend festival. EAST AUSTIN The venue sits in East Austin, the more affordable side of town and the one with the most going on within walking distance: coffee shops, taquerias, bars, restaurants, murals on every block.
