Kira Hooks Music Performace

Please join us for a live music performance by Kira Hooks to celebrate Filipino American History Month! No registration is required. Kira Hooks is a Filipina-Caucasian singer-songwriter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in Houston, Texas, she spent her formative years living in the Netherlands, Nigeria, Scotland, and China. Her time abroad deeply informs her musical sensibility and global perspective. Her music blends elements of soul, jazz, R&B, and folk, characterized by a rich, fluid vocal style and emotionally resonant songwriting.
