With so many types of tutorials available online and in written manuals, along with the wide variety of materials used, it can feel daunting to even begin tying yourself or a partner. In this introductory hands-on class, Tito Joey will teach the basics of rope, the different materials used, various styles of rope bondage, and essential safety precautions for both riggers and bunnies. Attendees can expect to learn and practice foundational skills such as rope handling, maintaining tension, and performing single-column and double-column ties. It is recommended to bring a tying partner so you can apply what you learn together in a full hog tie. Materials needed: 3–4 hanks of rope measuring 8–10 meters (26–32 feet) Tito Joey is a vibrant, community‑minded personality who brings warmth and flair to every gathering. After first exploring the Leather community in 2009, he fully embraced his passion in 2023 with guidance from the influential members of ONYX Midwest, who emphasized that service to the community is at the heart of it all.
