About this event
We will be reading Kindred by Octavia E. Butler. We are meeting at Vine Street Brewing. Here is a short summary of the book: Dana, a modern black woman, is celebrating her twenty-sixth birthday with her new husband when she is snatched abruptly from her home in California and transported to the antebellum South. I look forward to meeting you all. I will post an exact meeting point at the location closer to the event.
