Kids Costume Contest

Get creative, show off your style and have some Halloween fun! The Kids Costume Contest is free with your Wet’n’Wild Hawaii admission or Season Pass. The contest starts at 11:00 AM at the Park Center Stage. Kids can enter the costume contest in one of three age groups: Ages 3 – 5 Ages 6 – 9 Ages 10 –12 Costumes will be judged on originality and creativity, design and attention to detail, presentation, and overall impression. Judges will be looking for costumes that stand out, show imagination and have a personal touch. Most importantly, have fun and bring your costume to life! Judging Criteria Originality & Creativity – 40% We want to see your imagination! Costumes should be unique, creative and show an original idea. Design & Details – 30% Judges will look at the overall design, craftsmanship, accessories and attention to detail. Presentation – 20% Show us your costume and have fun with it! Judges will consider confidence, enthusiasm and how you present your look. Overall Impression – 10% The overall impact of the costume and how all the elements come together. Prizes 1st Place in Each Age Group A Kids Birthday Party for 10 at Wet’n’Wild Hawaii, including admission for 10, pizza, beverages and a reserved party area. 2nd Place in Each Age Group 2 Platinum Passes 3rd Place in Each Age Group 2 Silver Passes Costume Rules Costumes must be original and created or assembled by the contestant and/or their family. Store-bought costumes are welcome as long as they are substantially customized or personalized. All costumes must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. For everyone’s safety, costumes and props may not include weapons, sharp objects or anything that could create a safety hazard. Contestants must also be able to safely walk and participate while wearing their costume. Judges’ decisions are final.
