Saturday, November 7 - Sunday, November 8, 2026 | 10A - 4P | Weekend workshop | $350 Keumboo is an 11th century Korean technique that combines gold and silver to create beautiful surfaces and patterns. This 2-day workshop explores the traditions of Keumboo with a variations including texturing, embossing, forming and fabrication to create a wide variety of work. Knowledge of soldering is helpful. Day 1: Focus on earrings Techniques and demos include: Types of foils Metal preparation for good adhesion of foil Combining Keumboo with embossing, stamping and roll printing Design ideas for earrings Tips and tricks Day 2: Focus on a ring or bead Techniques and demos include: Frames, beads, links Adding soldered elements Bezels, pearl cups Supplies: A materials kit will be available for purchase from Paulette. Expect to pay $60-90, depending upon the metals market. The kit includes gold foil, 22 ga fine silver, 18 ga silver wire, and earring findings.
