Kenny & Amanda Smith Band

About this event

Graciously Sponsored by Jim and Dulce Doss The award-winning team of Kenny and Amanda Smith has cultivated a global reputation for delivering fresh, heartfelt bluegrass music for over two decades. Partners in life and music, the duo met in the late nineties while Kenny was performing with the legendary Lonesome River Band. Since launching their own group in 2001, they have emerged as one of acoustic music’s most beloved power couples, earning IBMA Emerging Artist of the Year in 2003, and Female Vocalist of the Year for Amanda in 2014. Kenny is widely recognized as one of the most influential flat-picking guitarists of his generation. While celebrated for their intimate duet performances, this special concert showcases the driving energy of their full touring band. This powerhouse five-piece lineup features an extraordinary, seasoned roster of musicians who have anchored the group for years: veteran mandolinist Cory Piatt (since 2012), expert banjoist Calib Smith, and talented bassist Austin Maynard. Together, the band breathes spectacular live energy into a massive catalog of number-one bluegrass hits, delivering an unforgettable evening of rare musical chemistry, deep faith, and stellar acoustic musicianship. “One of the most consistent and compelling sounds in bluegrass, blending traditional heart with a clean, modern acoustic precision.” – Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine
