Kaleidoscope

About this event

Join us on Saturday, November 7th from 10am to 5pm at MONA for Kaleidoscope, a revival of our annual holiday shopping tradition showcasing craftsmanship, community, and the many ways art can brighten the season! Kaleidoscope is a celebration of creativity in all its many forms. Like a kaleidoscope, which transforms individual colors, shapes, textures, and light into something beautiful, our artistic community brings together diverse disciplines, backgrounds, and traditions. Each craftsman offers a unique perspective and skill set, and together they create a vibrant artistic collage of individuals. That is the spirit of Kaleidoscope—uniting the many facets of our creative community and giving each one an opportunity to shine. Grab a warm cup of cider, explore the galleries, and shop a collection of art and handmade goods from a variety of talented Nebraskan creatives. Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind gift, something special for your home, or simply want to spend the day surrounded by inspiration, Kaleidoscope offers a festive, family-friendly opportunity to support artists and shop small this holiday season. Stay tuned for information on additional activities and fun for everyone that will make Kaleidoscope a memorable experience for visitors of all ages! MONA is proud to be a part of the wider Downtown on the Brick’s annual Holiday Open House event which kicks off the season of gift-giving in Kearney! Come celebrate with us, discover something new, connect with local artisans, and begin your holiday shopping season downtown and at MONA!
