About this event
The 37th Annual Julie Diener 5k is a 5k run and 1 mile fun run that is held every year to honor the life of Julie Diener. Julie was a Southside High School student and cross country athlete who passed away in 1992 at the age of 18 in a car accident. For several years the Southside High School Wrestling Team has sponsored the race as their main fund raising event. It is an honor to remember Ms. Diener and her dedication to Southside High School and Southside Athletics. Race is on August 22, 2026.
