Jon Cleary's "The Kitchen Sink Concerts" feat. Pedro SegundoJon Cleary is a British-born funk, Rstyle musician who has made his home in the Crescent City. A gifted pianist, vocalist, songwriter, and multiinstrumentalist, he first fell in love with New Orleans music during his teens and eventually moved there, working odd jobs (including painting the Maple Leaf Bar) before immersing himself in the citys rich musical culture. He has played and recorded alongside luminaries like Dr. John, Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal and John Scofield, leads his own group The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, and won a Grammy for his 2015 album Go-Go Juice.Pedro Segundo Portugese-born drummer and percussionist celebrated for his versatility across jazz, classical, and world music. He has performed with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and Gulbenkian Orchestra, working under/alongside eminent artists such as Sir Neville Marriner, Murray Perahia, Joshua Bell, and Sir Colin Davis. In the jazz and popular music world, he has played with Judith Owen (including touring with her and with Bryan Ferry), Dennis Rollins, Kansas Smittys House Band, Julio Resende, and as house drummer for Ronnie Scotts All Stars.
