A Concert to Benefit the CT Cancer Foundation Doors 6:30pm, Show 7:30pm Last year, John Oates celebrated his vibrant 25-year solo career with the release of his new self-titled album, “OATES.” Over these prolific years, he has released eight albums, including “Phunk Shui,” “1000 Miles of Life,” “Mississippi Mile,” “Good Road to Follow,” “The Bluesville Sessions,” “Live from Nashville,” “Arkansas,” and “Reunion.” Oates has performed and collaborated with some of Nashville’s most legendary writers and musicians, and he is touring the world with the Good Road Band and his Acoustic Quartet.For 2026, Oates performs a set of songs drawn from these albums plus familiar classic R&B and rock hits he calls “The Songs That Made Me.” For fans of the ’70s and ’80s, he also plays some iconic pop selections from his legendary career as co-creator of Hall & Oates. The Connecticut Cancer Foundation (CCF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1987 by CT resident, and former NY Yankees baseball player, John Ellis to financially assist CT cancer patients and their families with funding for basic living needs (rent, mortgage, food, heat, utilities, etc.) while they are enduring treatment. Over the past 39 years CCF has granted over $10 million to more than 12,000 Connecticut families dealing with the financial hardships that often follow a cancer diagnosis and has donated more than $3.3 million to support cancer research.
