Jerry Kosak w. Blues Contraption

Blues Contraption is a musical hodgepodge of styles that takes on a life of it’s own. The music is funky and grooves in a manner reminiscent of the early blues from Mississippi and New Orleans. Songs from Jimmy Reed, Sonny Boy Williamson, and JJ Cale find a home in Blues Contraption. Billy McLaughlin calls Jerry Kosak “a powerful and colorful guitarist who makes me want to practice…or just listen with a big smile on my face.” 2026 saw Kosak depart from his four previous albums of solo acoustic guitar by releasing Kid From Yesterday, a rock album in the manner of Robin Trower. His stripped down performance will feature songs from this album arranged for acoustic guitar and vocal, interspersed with his progressive acoustic solos. www.jerrykosak.com Flyer made using original artwork by Louis Murphy
