JERRY GRILLO….JAZZ SINGER Mr. Grillo is an accomplished multi-dimensional artist. His career spans decades as a recording artist, singer, actor, dancer, writer, and painter. A Minneapple recording artist, he has toured throughout the USA and Europe. His career includes performances in Broadway musicals in the 70’s, the pop group Sweet Earth in the 80’s, and 30 plus year as a jazz recording artist, with ten albums and singles. Jerry is a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter and a two-time WAMI Award winner as Jazz Artist of the Year. His music career spans 50 plus years Mayor Cavalier Johnson awarded Mr. Grillo his own day; May 13th is Jerry Grillo Day. The award is to honor his career and his song; My Hometown Milwaukee.
