Jeff Libman – guitar, Michael Kocour – Viscount organ, Robby Carrillo – drums Join Phoenix guitarist Jeff Libman for an evening of soulful, swinging organ trio jazz with organist Michael Kocour and drummer Robby Carrillo. Together, they bring fresh interpretations of standards, popular songs, and originals, blending classic organ trio traditions with a sound uniquely their own. Praised by Jazz Journal as “a sensitive guitarist with a graceful, melodic turn,” Libman is a longtime Phoenix jazz artist, ASU Jazz Studies faculty member, and Vice Chair of The Nash. His latest album, Feet Off the Ground (Cellar Music, 2025), reached #12 on the NACC Jazz Chart. Kocour, ASU’s Director of Jazz Studies, is an internationally recognized pianist, organist, and composer who has performed with Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Lovano, Randy Brecker, and the Chicago Symphony. Carrillo, also on the ASU Jazz Studies faculty, is an in-demand Phoenix drummer who has performed with Fred Forney, Armand Boatman, Marty Ashby, Charles Lewis, and many others. 1/2 price Student tickets are available in the Tables & Banquettes sections.
