Jazz Pesado - The Art Gallery We’re back with this years Jazz Pesado and this time we are focusing on honoring the meaning of Jazz Pesado through Art. This exhibition asks artists to consider the beginning legacy of Jazz Pesado as an invitation rather than a theme. What is your song? What story lives within you that refuses to be silenced? What does your own form of Jazz Pesado sound, look, or feel like? In other words, “Cual es tu Corrido?” This will be a 4-day exhibition with each of those days having a different event happening. We’re so excited for the lineup of artists we have this year! Dates and Time: Friday August 28th - Opening Night/Open Mic at 6p Saturday August 29th - Gallery Reception 5p-10p Sunday August 30th - La Galería de la Mañana, Chilaquiles + Café de Olla, 10a-1p Monday August 31st - Panel Discussion, Artist Panel + Guest Speakers, 6p-9p
